Fulvio Valbusa (born February 15, 1969 in Verona
) is an Italian
cross country skier who competed from 1992 to 2006. He won two medals in the 4 x 10 km relay at the Winter Olympics with a gold in 2006
and a silver in 1998
. He also finished 5th in three other cross country events at the 1998 Winter Olympics
in Nagano (10 km + 15 km combined pursuit, 30 km, and 50 km).
Valbusa also won 5 medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships
, including 1 silver (15 km: 2005) and 4 bronzes (10 km + 15 km combined pursuit: 1999, 4 x 10 km relay: 1995, 1997, 1999). He also won three FIS races at 15 km in 1996, 1997, and 2004.
He is the older brother of cross country skier Sabina Valbusa
