Janardhana Reddy was finally arrested by CBI on 5 September 2011 at his residence in Bellary and is taken to the Capital of Neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh. After the CBI court heard his lawyers representations, he along with his brother-in-law was remanded for 14 days and sent to Chanchalguda Jail, and he is allotted Prisoner Number 697.
