Gamma Nu Eta is the national Information Technology
Honor society
for students in the United States
. It was organized to recognize and promote excellence in the study and the leadership of Information Technology, to offer knowledge and services to its members’ schools and surrounding communities; and to play an active role in the application and evolution of Information Technology within society. Members must be strong academically, demonstrate leadership, campus involvement, and excellent character.

to comply with ACHS guidelines with the specific intent of growing a sufficient number of chapters to be a part of the ACHS.
