to the south and is the start of the Friendship Trail Bridge (old Gandy Bridge
) linking Pinellas County and Hillsborough County

In the CDP the population was spread out with 6.7% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 25.5% from 45 to 64, and 30.3% who were 65 years of age or older.
