Gary Anderson is a semi-retired racing car designer and motorsport pundit.
Gary was born in Northern Ireland and attended Queen's University Belfast.
In motorsport he started at Brabham as a mechanic. In 1975 he also raced (as a driver) in Formule Libre in a car designed by himself and Bob Simpson (the Anson
SA1). Later he designed cars for Jordan
(1991–1998), Stewart
/Jaguar
(1998–2000), and Jordan
again (2002 and 2003), as well as the Spa series of open wheelers.
He also worked in the USA, at Reynard

He now works as a consultant to Dallara
