Cohn is said to be having an arrogant, aggressive, abrasive and risk-prone work style.
According to this article in Bloomberg,
"6-foot 3-inch & 220 lbs Cohn would sometimes hike up one leg, plant his foot on a trader's desk, his thigh close to the employee's face and ask how markets were doing".


According to former Bear Stearns Asset Management CEO Richard Marin, Cohn's arrogance is at the root of the problem.
"When you become arrogant, in a trading sense, you begin to think that everybody's a counterpary, not a customer, not a client".

History of this effort to shoehorn Greece into the eurozone dates back to shortly after Cohn was serving as the global head of Goldman Sachs's commodities business and through his tenures as a senior manager in charge of the company's global commodities and global securities units. He himself led a delegation from Goldman Sachs in late 2009 for meetings which included proposals to place debt-due dates so far into the future that metrics for assessing the Greek national debt would be sufficiently vitiated so as to permit Greece to stay a Eurozone member.
