The Gatton Halls of Residence are the main residential facilities provided by the university to students attending The University of Queensland's Gatton
campus. The Halls of Residence at UQ Gatton is the largest residential college associated with The University of Queensland and one of the largest in the country. It was established in 1897 and currently comprising 440 rooms. Students at the college mainly study within the NRAVS (Natural Resources, Agriculture and Veterinary Science) faculty, specialising in anything from animals sciences, wildlife, agricultural science and veterinary science. Students also completing Certificate studies also live on Halls.
