The station hosts an average of 5 trains an hour, all trains stopping at Geneva main station. Trains continue to Basel, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne or the Swiss alps (Brig). Connections to Italy and France are possible at Geneva main station, only 6 minutes away from the airport.

Geneva Airport is the only railway station in Switzerland served only by long-distance trains.
