Amongst his generic names are Ohchisme, Dolichisme, Elachisme, Florichisme, Isachisme, Marichisme, Nanichisme, Peggichisme, and Polychisme. "-chisme" is a Greek suffix that is pronounced "KISS-me". Kirkaldy prefaced the names of the various species he discovered with various women's names from alleged romantic conquests.
