from 1977 to 1984. He also participated in UEFA Euro 1980.
After the dismissal of the former PAOK coach, Mr. Karageorgiou, Kostikos took over the team as a temporary coach. After Kostikos successfully led PAOK to qualify to the UEFA Cup
Groups, PAOK's president Yannis Goumenos, announced that Kostikos will be the coach of PAOK. For the year 2007–2008 Kostikos managed Nea Salamina of Famagusta
