since 1979 making his acting debut in El Fausto criollo, although he has acted in a number of films such as the 1988 Victor Dinenzon
film, Abierto de 18 a 24 and the 1994 film El Amante de las Peliculas Mudas.
In 1992 he played the role of the swindler Raúl Fontana in the action thriller Al Filo de la Ley (On the Edge of the Law) based around a hotel
in Miami. He also appeared in Spanish

In 1996 Gerardo appeared in the crime thriller Policia corrupto known internationally as Corrupt Police. He portrayed the character of Eduardo Romero.
