Gerry Turner was an American children's fiction writer. He published 7 books, including one fairy tale
, Magic Night for Lillibet, and one science fiction novel, Stranger from the Depths,also Creative Crafts for Everyone and The Teen Model Book between 1959 and 1968.
He was born in 1921, and died in 1982. Turner lived in Westport, Connecticut
. He was also a photographer whose pictures were chosen to hang in the White House. His specialty was portraiture. He was hired by the Irish Tourist Board and Aer Lingus to do a photographic tour of Ireland.
His children are Steven, Jill and Chris. Steven is an aerial photographer and Jill is a fine art photographer. His widow Julie lives in Wilton CT.
