Gibault is known for winning three consecutive state championships in soccer between 2005–2007, followed with a 3rd place finish in 2008 and a 2nd place finish in 2009. Head soccer coach, Jim Corsi, has recently been inducted into Illinois High School Association coaches' Hall of Fame.
