The Holyrood constituency is entirely within the Glasgow City council area, on its south-eastern boundary. It is south of the Springburn constituency, west of Baillieston, north of Rutherglen and Cathcart and east of Govan and Kelvin.

The Springburn, Baillieston, Cathcart, Govan and Kelvin constituencies are also entirely within the city area.

Boundary review

Following their First Periodic review into constituencies to the Scottish Parliament, the Boundary Commission for Scotland have recommended a modified Glasgow Shettleston constituency. The newly formed seat effectively absorbs the existing Glasgow Baillieston seat, featuring almost the entire Baillieston electoral ward in addition to the divisions of Calton, and Shettleston.
