 - Ugandan Women Writer's Association, Glaydha Namukasa is a prolific Ugandan writer and Midwife. She was the winner of the The 2005 Macmillan Writers Prize for Africa-Senior Prize.

Early life

Glaydha was born in the Northern part of Uganda and is a student in the crossing borders writers' scheme by the British Council.

2005 Award

In 2005, she was announced as the winner of the Macmillan Writer's Prize for Africa Senior Prize for her book Voice of A Dream which earned her the prize of $5,000.

Books

Till date, she has written and co-authored many books which include her award-winning 'Voice of a Dream',The Deadly Ambition,among other.

Her interests include writing and Delivering Babies Alongside.
