Glenn Bedingfield is a Maltese journalist and formerly a Member of the European Parliament
and General Secretary of the Forum Żgħażagħ Laburisti (the Labour Youth Forum
of the Maltese Labour Party) and member of the Party's National Executive.
and One Television, One Productions in 1991. As an investigative political journalist Glenn Bedingfield won the 2002 Journalist of the Year award for broadcast TV. From 1992 he produced and he involved in controversial and investigative media programms in One Television and also in One Radio
.
He also published 3 investigative books on the relations between crime and politics. The first of these books landed Glenn Bedingfield in court when criminal proceedings were initiated against him by the Nationalist Government of the time. The case caused uproar during its first sitting. The case was not pursued further by the government.
In 2003 Glenn Bedingfield opened his first business enterprise in Vittoriosa. He moved on to open a second restaurant in the heart of Malta’s historical maritime city of Vittoriosa. Presently he is running his third business enterprise: a wine bistro in Fort St Angleo hailed as the icon of Maltese fortifications surrounding the grand harbour and situated in Vittoriosa’s exquisite marina.

Being elected on the first count with 62 per cent of the votes, adding to nearly 20,000 votes, Glenn Bedingfield surpassed of the votes. Another one per cent of votes were non-transferable.

, he lost his position in the MEP elections by 4,982 Votes which amounts to 3.67% of the total votes given to the Labour party or 1.96 % of the total votes.
