Sherlock is in his 24th year in professional baseball and he's the only member of Arizona's original coaching staff that has been on board since the outset in 1998. He is in the second year of his second stint as the bullpen coach, a position where he spent his first 5 seasons. Sherlock replaced Bob Melvin
as the bench coach in 2003, when Melvin took the managerial role in Seattle
. Glenn started the 2004 season as the first base coach, but took over on the third base line after Al Pedrique
was named manager.
