men's semi-professional minor league basketball organization. The league's inaugural season will start in November 2010, with teams based in cities across the United States
. Initially, the GPBL was set to have four teams play in the inaugural 2010 season, however, these teams have since been relegated to the Global Professional Basketball League 2
