She was the first child of parents Rosa and Anton. Her father is from Slovenia

. She has a younger brother, Andrej, born in 1977.
On 27 January 2007, Tržan married Ivan Marinković. Upon marriage, she took the name Marinković, but continues to perform under her former name in relation to her music. On May 23, 2007 she gave birth to a baby girl Lena. Goca divorced from her husband in 2011.

She loves long walks, fishing, animals, extreme sports.
