Gallant was out at the bar and came back 45 minutes to and hour and a half past curfew and was told Neale had call the room and he knew Gallant had broken curfew. Gallant went to Neale's room and sucker-punched Neale then went about destroying the room, claims Neale. Gallant was gone the very next day, team President Wayne Belisle reasoned, "i don't any one individual can put himself in front of the coach, the team or the franchise."
