in 2003, helping the Steelmen reach the 2005 League Cup Final
. Marshall joined the coaching staff at the club before retiring as a player in 2005.
Marshall joined the Hibernian coaching staff in November 2005 and left his position in July 2009. Marshall then worked for Alloa Athletic
and St. Johnstone as a goalkeeping coach. He returned to Motherwell
in August 2011 as a goalkeeping coach, replacing Stewart Kerr
.
Marshall was capped once by Scotland
