The Gourmet Ghetto is the colloquial name for the business district of the North Berkeley neighborhood in the city of Berkeley, California
. The business district is sometimes more formally referred to as "North Shattuck." It received its nickname due to the high concentration of fine eating establishments in the area, such as Chez Panisse

, as well as the first Peet's Coffee.
According to the North Shattuck Association, the Gourmet Ghetto business district runs primarily along Shattuck Avenue, with some shops on Walnut and Vine streets, and is roughly bordered by Rose Street to the north and Delaware Street to the south.
