On 18 November 2010, he was loaned out to Hayes & Yeading United
for one month. After the deal ran out, on 30 December, Montgomery was signed by Newport County
on another loan until the end of the season. In May 2011 Dagenham announced the release of Montgomery at the end of his contract.
