, who has some acclaimed Malayalam films under her belt, expressed her desire to feature in a film alongside Mohanlal.Priya is chosen to play an important role in Mohanlal's latest film Grandmaster, which is being produced by a big production house.
"This is an important role, but, from the looks of it, will not pair her romantically opposite him. Yet, she will be seen in many scenes pposite Mohanlal," says a source. This crime thriller will have Priya in the role of a lawyer who enters the plot at an important juncture.
"This is going to be a role that requires someone who can set the screen on fire. So, the makers felt that she would be a good bet, considering her previous releases in Mollywood," says the source.
Priya, who is currently shuttling between Kannada and Telugu film sets, confirms, "Yes, I have been offered the role and I've signed it. This will be my first film opposite Mohanlal."
