Visitors

Springtime wildflower displays, fishing and wildlife watching attract visitors to this undeveloped park, which also encompasses the former Fremont Ford State Recreation Area.

Great Valley Grasslands State Park was one of the 48 California state parks proposed for closure in January 2008 as part of a deficit reduction program. However to date the Park has remained open.
