The Guadalmedina has its source at the peak of La Cruz, in the Sierra de Camarolos  (Mountain range of Camarolos), and it is 47 km long. It reaches the Mediterranean in the center of the city of Málaga and passes through the Natural Park known as Montes de Málaga
