Guadalupe MRT Station is a station on the Manila MRT
Blue Line (MRT-3). The station is one of the many elevated stations that can be found on the line. It is located in Makati City
and is named because of its location in Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo in Makati. The barangay (and its counterpart barangay, Guadalupe Viejo) is named after Our Lady of Guadalupe
.
The station is the ninth station for trains headed to Taft Avenue
and the fifth station for trains headed to North Avenue
. It is the last MRT-3 station south of the Pasig River
.
Guadalupe station is near two major seminaries

Dead man in the stockroom
On February 2, 2009 a body of a 24-year old janitor was found in the stockroom of the Guadalupe MRT station. The janitor was last seen during 1:30 a.m, and was found dead by a co-worker around 3:50 a.m. No external injuries were found on the man, but as of press time, authorities are waiting for the autopsy report to determine the cause of death.Station layout
