, and part of the Third Group built of that class. She was built by Cammell Laird and launched on April 9, 1943. So far she has been the only ship of the Royal Navy to bear the name Stoic.

She survived the Second World War, spending most of it with the Eastern Fleet, where she sank six small Japanese sailing vessels, the Japanese transport ship Kainan Maru

SS Makambo

Stoic was sold in July 1950 to be broken up at Dalmuir.
