Sir Harold Murray Knight KBE DSC
(born 16 August 1917) is an Australian economist
. He was the third Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, serving from 1975 to 1982.
He was educated at Scotch College, Melbourne
(1933–1935) and Melbourne University where he received a Master of Commerce degree.
He was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire
(KBE) in the New Year's Day Honours of 1980.
