HP Pavilion dv2z

The HP Pavilion dv2 is a model series of laptop/mobile computers manufactured by Hewlett-Packard Company that features a 12.1" diagonal display.

, were suitable for lighter tasks, such as internet use. The dv2z was an ultra-portable notebook that measured under 1 inch thick and weighed under 3.81 pounds. Instead of an internal optical drive, HP provided the optical drive as an external option in order to further reduce size and weight.
The laptop initially came with a MV-40 processor with an ATI Radeon X1250 integrated graphics. The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410 was an optional discrete GPU. On June 9 2009, HP incorporated the dual core Amd Neo processors when the processors based on 65 nanometre technology became available. The Athlon Neo and the Turion Neo mobile processors were designed to have less than 18W TDP
. The laptop was rated to operate under 35W.
The laptop came pre-installed with 32/64 bit Windows Vista. HP announced that it would allow customers for a opt-in free upgrade when Windows-7 software and drivers became available.
