 (the present station being built in 1978, 14 years after the Halesowen Railways ‘Longbridge’ station closed). It was opened in 1878 and was a joint operation between the Great Western Railway

It had a relatively short passenger railway life, only running regular passenger trains for the full length of the line until 1919, the last regular passenger service ran between Halesowen and Old Hill until 1927. There were workers special services to the Austin Rover Works in Longbridge and freight trains up to the end of its life.
