Hallberg-Rassy produces sailing yachts for blue water cruising. The company was founded by Harry Hallberg in 1943, merging the yards of Hallberg and Christoph Rassy (b. 1934) in 1972.
Since 1988, all designs are produced by the Argentinian
engineer and yacht designer Germán Frers
who has done 15 designs for Hallberg-Rassy.
By now, 8,900 yachts have been finished by Hallberg-Rassy, and the yard produces yachts for sailors all over the world.
The company is owned by the Rassy family. The manager is Magnus Rassy.
