Han In Sang was a general authority
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) between 1991 and 1996. Han was the first Korean Latter-day Saint to become a general authority of the LDS Church.
Han was born in Seoul
. In 1957, Han was baptized
a member of the LDS Church. He was ordained an elder in the church by Gordon B. Hinckley
, who was then an Assistant to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
. Han was the first native Korean to serve as a Mormon missionary
