team won the 2008 Class AA State Championship, and the wrestling
team won the 2011 Class AA State Championship.
The Hanahan Hawks football team had a region-winning streak of 46 games. That was the second longest streak in the state of South Carolina (1st was Stratford High School
, 51 games). The streak ended with a loss at Andrews High School
