Distillery

St. George Spirits was founded as an eau de vie distillery in 1982 by Jorg Rupf. Needing great amounts of space for the operation, the company was set up in a hangar at the old Alameda Naval Air Station. The distillery first began producing vodka in 2001 with the aid of Ansley Coale from Germain-Robin
