Hans Eberhard Apel was a German
politician
and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany
(SPD). From 1972-74 he was Parliamentary State Secretary to the Foreign Minister
. From 1974-78 he was the Minister of Finance and from 1978-82 he was the Minister of Defence.
