Hans Rasmus Astrup was a Norwegian
politician for the Liberal Party. He was Minister of Labour 1885-1887, and member of the Council of State Division in Stockholm
1887-1888. Astrup was a merchant before entering Sverdrup Cabinet in 1885. He resigned on 17 February 1888.
He was the son of Ebbe Carsten Tønder Astrup (1794-1888), who was mayor of Bolsøy
for four years.
