Bishop was born in Telford, Shropshire, but spent most of her childhood years in the town of Beeston
near Nottingham
. She was the first child of Carl and Kathy Bishop who later had two sons, Dean and Adam. After leaving The Becket Comprehensive
in 1998, Bishop attended Clarendon College
before she went on to do a BA HONS in Acting at the Guildford School of Acting.
