Heart of the Storm is a 2004

during a hurricane. Three convicts named Tad, Juke, and the leader Simpson, seek refuge in a small family's house and hold them captive. Soon the family begins to get along with them until Tad and Simpson get into a fight where Simpson shoots Tad, incapacitating him. When the family father comes home he is also shot. When Juke tries to help the family escape Simpson's treachery
