The Henley Football Club is an Australian rules football
team that has been in existence since about 1899 and has been known by its current name since 1998. The Henley 'Sharks' field 5 senior teams in the South Australian Amateur Football League
, Division 1 and 1 Reserves, Division 7 and 7 Reserves and U18's. The club also fields many junior teams in the Metro West Junior Football League in grades ranging from Under 8's through Under 16's.
The Henley Football Club has been affiliated with several different leagues in its history including the SAAFL, West Torrens Football Association, Adelaide & Suburban Football League and the South Australian Football Association. The Henley Sharks have also been known as Henley Beach, Henley & Grange, Henley District & Old Scholars and Henley Greek.

The 2011 season was another successful season with the senior side making the Division 1 finals after winning the premiership in the previous year. The B-Grade were successful in winning the premiership by 1 point against Sacred Heart who had defeated the Bs in the previous 2 Grand Finals .
The C Grade in Division 6 were relegated and the D Grade made the finals to finish .
