Henry Constantine Richter (1821–1902) was a zoological illustrator

Richter was employed by John Gould
to assist with the illustrations of his zoological works after the death of Gould's wife Elizabeth
. Richter produced about 1,600 lithographic plates and watercolours for his employer.
Two of his best known illustrations are those of thylacine
