 singer/songwriter/guitarist Richard Thompson. It was originally released in Britain in April 1972 on the Island label and in the US on the Reprise label.
The album was Thompson's attempt to create an English rock 'n roll hybrid. It was poorly received at the time, but is currently considered one of his better albums.
