The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship is a highly competitve national fellowship
that exposes college graduates to various issues related to international peace and security. It was created to honor the legacy of Dr. Herbert (Pete) Scoville Jr. The Scoville Fellowship was established in 1987, two years after Dr. Scoville's death.
Twice a year, a small group of individuals are selected to study international security topics through partnerships with various think tanks and advocacy groups in Washington D.C. Previous Scoville Fellows have gone on to assume distinguished roles in academia
, in government, and with public interest groups with emphases on peace and security. Scoville Fellows have the opportunity to study a broad range of security issues and also have the chance to publish on those topics.
