Heroine (song)
Encyclopedia
"Heroine" is a song by British pop act Shakespears Sister
, which, at this time, was essentially former Bananarama
singer Siobhan Fahey

was not convinced it was a strong enough single and instead opted for to issue it as a double A-side with "Break My Heart (You Really)". The song was however released as a standalone single in Canada and USA. None of the versions/formats that were released made any major chart impacts.
, and self-financed by Fahey herself. It featured Fahey running in a wedding dress through the streets of New York, and also shots holding her then-baby son, Sam. Since the band was still not officially a duo, Marcella Detroit
does not appear in the video (though she provided backing vocals to the song).
