Hikayat Iskandar Zulkarnain

Hikayat Iskandar Zulkarnain is an ancient Malay script which describes a character from Al-Quran (Iskandar Zulkarnain) and his exploits and achievements. The text itself predates "Sejarah Melayu
" (before 1600), however, the oldest manuscript is dated 1713. It is too poor a state of repair to be usable. Another manuscript was copied by Muhammad Cing Sa`idullah at about 1830.
