Hindi Wikipedia is the Hindi language edition of Wikipedia

announced that they had begun working with Hindi Wikipedians to translate English language articles into Hindi and had so far translated 600,000 words in Hindi using a combination of Google Translate
and manual checking. This coordinated translation has been responsible for a 20% rate of growth and counting for the site.
