In 2008 the company name was changed again to the current HC Val Pusteria, the name of the stadium became Leitner Solar Arena. In 2010 the name changed yet again, the team becoming HC Val Pusteria Wolves.

Team History
The team was founded in 1954 as EV Bruneck MAK. Their first season in the B series took place in 1966. They won the championship in the 1967-68 and 1968-69 seasons. However their two victories were not enough to allow them to move up to Series A because their stadium was nothing but an open space, not suitable for the top series. On their third attempt however, they moved up: they won the 1971-72 championship B and in the 1972-73 season they played in series A for the first time. For nearly 30 years in a row the Wolves remained in Series A.
