Holte is a town and the northernmost suburb
of Metropolitan Copenhagen
located in Rudersdal municipality
, Denmark
. It is located between Rudersdal and the top of Geel's Hill (Geels Bakke) on the shores of the Furesø lake.
The main road in town is The King's Road (Kongevejen), which cuts through the town on its way from the town of Kongens Lyngby
in the southeast to Hillerød
northwest of Holte. The town has a number of small lakes and parks, including the large Furesø Park on the shores of the lake. It is partially bounded on the southeast by municipal neighbor Lyngby-Taarbæk's large park, Ravnsholm Park with the Mølleå (Mill River).
