Holy Angels Catholic Academy is a co-educational school in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
. It has been serving the Bay Ridge community since 1924 and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers Kindergarten to Grade 8 plus 3 year old (Little Angels) and 4 year old (Pre-K) programs.
In 1958, due to increased student enrollments, a new addition to the school was built to hold extra classrooms, science lab, library, gymnasium, cafeteria and administrative offices.
The school was on a list of schools that the Diocese of Brooklyn
planned to shut down in spring 2009, but the school was a candidate for being converted from a parish school to an academy through an initiative known as Sharing the Vision. An outcome of that initiative was that Our Lady of Angels School was transformed into Holy Angels Catholic Academy of Brooklyn.

History
The school began as Our Lady of Angels School, which opened on 8 September 1924 with an enrollment of 350 students, four grades in eight classes taught by four lay teachers and six Sisters of Charity of Halifax. The first graduation took place in June, 1928.In 1958, due to increased student enrollments, a new addition to the school was built to hold extra classrooms, science lab, library, gymnasium, cafeteria and administrative offices.
