. He plays the Defensive midfielder position for Egypt's African Super Cup Championship club Al-Ahly
as well as Egypt's Olympic National Football Team.
He is a talented young midfielder who has become something of a regular for Al Ahly in the past couple of seasons. Made several appearances in their triumphant CAF Champions League 2006
and CAF Champions League 2005
campaign.He is known for his hardwork and very excellent defense. Reportes had chosen him the Man of the final Match against CS Sfaxien.
